Neither one has anything directly to do with printing, only monitor accuracy.
The feature list is fairly similar, but Prove-It is very obscure to use...
not that OptiCAL is transparent (that would be PhotoCAL) but it has a much
higher rate of end users who are successful in calibrating their own monitors
with it first try. As a consultant I shouldn't complain about software that
requires users to hire my services; but I do prefer not to have to make site
visits for basic stuff like monitor calibration.
