David,
Yes, creating digital proof sheets without a ton of white space and
predictable color management is a pain. The kludge I use is ImageBuddy with
this workflow. First I batch the raw captures into TIFFs or PSDs. Then in
Photoshop, I batch apply a size reduction, sharpen and conversion to the
final printer profile. These are saved as jpegs (imagebuddy like jpegs) in a
separate folder which will be trashed later. I open the folder of JPEGs into
Image buddy and arrage layout then print through IB and Epson driver. I
talked to IB creator about his color management. He said the color goes
straight through untouched, cept' by the Epson driver of course. It takes a
while to do inital setup and it's kinda' a pain but it does work.

Subject: Contact Sheets
Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but I know there are alot of high power
Photoshop users here.
I was wondering if anyone new how to change the size in the image in in
photoshops contact sheet 2, ie: 8 frames on a 8 X 10 using the whole page ?
And if not does anyone know an aplication that allows it ?
I want to batch process 100's of images this way so picture pactage is not
the
answer.
Thanks in advance,
