Hello,
I'm new to the list and have checked some archives. Any help on this
issue appreciated.
I'm running an 1160 Epson printer with a CIS. I've used profiles
generated with ProfilerPro and a Spectrocam with good results in 9.2
and have been working in 9.2.2. FWIW I'm running thinned Xtreme Gamut
inks on Ilford roll paper cut as needed. Results are quite nice.
I am trying to switch to OSX for all work and Epson has finally
produced a driver for OSX for the 1160. The driver seems to work
alright in normally text printing, but I can't get the printing
profiles to show up in the "color management" box in the print dialog
box for the 1160. The box is simply blank when "colorsync" is chosen.
I have put the profiles in all OSX libraries that will allow additions.
I have run the colorsync utility that checks and repairs profiles, it
shows them to be ok. The profiles do show up in photoshop 7 in
"image>mode>apply profile", though I haven't tried that as a printing
solution.
Ideally, I would like to apply the profile while printing under the
colorsync mode in the printer dialog box as I have in 9.2.2.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Barry Andersen
