David,
I am using MonacoProof v.3.6. This is a big step up from Proof v.3.5,
itself an improvement on 3.2.
As you know, it supports the EyeOne but I use a Spectrocam. I findthis
combo does a good job. I nevwe got the results I wanted from scanner based
profiling.
You could say I have indirect exeprience of the EyeOne from trying Bill
Atkinson's profiles for the Epson 7600/9600 printers, and as those profiles
are excellent, so I would expect the MonacoProof / EyeOne combo to work
well. It will be a lot better than the EZ combo you are also considering.
Note these comments appy to OS8.6 and Win XP.
