I completely disagree. One profile made under very controlled conditions
will indeed work for many if not all lighting conditions if the camera is
properly gray balanced. Lets take the sunrise example. Properly would be
daylight gray balance and the profile will behave exactly as it does under
strobe with an accurate gray balance. Giving you the same response as
daylight film under these conditions. The valididty of the profile depends
entirely on how you make it and how you gray balance and beyond that has
nothing to do with lighting.
