Right on! Yes, I agree we should try and capture all the color we can. I
also think that this entire color working space issue has been beaten to
death to the point that the VAST majority of users are getting the wrong
message. For the color geeks (and you all know who you are) or the guy
scanning art for a museum, getting all the color possible is very important.
For 90% or more of Photoshop users (many who I still have to smack when they
use their display profile for a Working Space), the discussion is a bit
overblown IMHO.
