David,
That seems odd. Was it perhaps a faulty unit? The presets for sharpening for
Linocolor are way out of control. Would this maybe be the dithering of a
GIF? IF there was a lot of S/N then it must have had something wrong with
it as normally the noise introduced on these models were very low, albeit
ambient operating noise very high (around the same as an Eversmart).
