possibly it was faulty but I really have no way to determine that now as we
returned it to Heidelberg after the evaluation period.
the sharpening settings in Linocolor were the same we use for Nexscan, which
aren't particularly aggressive. I was able to achieve a good coor match
between the two but it was pretty obvious to viewers which image had come
from the 2650, especially in skintones and flat areas of color e.g. studio
backdrops.
I don't expect a scanner costing 1/4 the price of a Nexscan to give me
Nexscan quality, but I wasn't prepared for 1/4 of the quality ;)
