Hello to all,
Working with the ProfileMaker 4.1 (Jaguar version) and the Spectrolino I
tried to calibrate and profile an IMac 17 inch LCD screen (MacOS10.2 Jaguar)
First I calibrated at 6500K and Profiled directly afterwards.
The calibration looks OK very similar as what I am used to see on my CTR
monitor. My own test image in my viewing booth was reasonable able to
match the LCD screen.
But.... than I profiled in ProfileMaker and calculated the profile (tried
various options). Dumped it one of the colour folders in MacOS10.2, than I
went to the System Preferences in the Apple menu > than to Displays > and
yes there was the profile > I click on it > and what? Disaster: profile way
off!! The whole screen turns blue.
Even if I tried to calibrate at 5000K and Profile at 5000K. Calibration
looks to be OK, but if I click in the display folder on the profile it's way
off. I tried all possible colour folders in MacOSX.2 at no different
result. The Profile made at 5000K was very much the same as the profile
made at 6500K.
What a different story with my own MacOS9.2 and a CTR monitor, no fuss no
hassle!
So what am I doing wrong?
Any help most appreciated,
Regards,
Udo J. Machiels
