Could someone tell me how much difference there is in actual results between
color engines used in OS's and applications ? For instance PhotoShop
(Windows) gives a choice between ACE and the Windows default M$
(Linotype/Hell). Wasatch SoftRip a choice between again M$ and Kodak. So far
I couldn't see any difference between results from the choices in PhotoShop
for a perceptual rendering of an output profile. There has been a discussion
here on the not always nice perceptual rendering of some engines. Argyll
will be better on that aspect was one of the claims. Are there more ICC
related engines and what are the differences in practice ?
