Absolute Colorimetric ?

  • Subject: Absolute Colorimetric ?

Hi Group

I know absolute colorimetric is the proofing intent of choice when the profing
device has a larger gamut than the final out put device, because i've read this.

However I do not understand how turning the whites blue benifits this situtation
?

Should not a profiled proofing device with a gamut larger than final out put
still produce an accurate proof of the colours described in the out put profile ?

Thanks,
