Sounds like your "proofing" from a D65/6500K RGB source which doesn't work
with absolute colorimetric. Either proof this using relative colorimetric
(only diff will be no paper cast simulation) or first convert to your target
CMYK and then use that as your CMYK source to your proofing destination
device.
