The preferred choice would be the Cannon S9000 as it's the fastest A3
printer with a decent proofing and photo printing abilities using archival
inks.
I'm not sure Canon is still making the 8500. I've seen the output with Best
Designer Edition and it's good just the same, yet not like the recent Epson
2100 or Canon S9000.
