To properly do this you need a good RIP. One such RIP that offers impressive
control of these important features is ColorBurst
<
http://www.compatsys.com/> allowing the LT primaries to adjusted to
maintain hue. Some of you may have noticed a major hue shift as you move
from solid primaries to a mixture of LT and solid primary color. Plotting
CMYK primaries in ICCTool Box <
http://www.icctools.com/> you will see a hue
shift. This makes it awfully difficult for profiling apps to *compensate*
for different hues in 1/4 tone regions compared to 3/4 tone regions that
usually have little LT primary.
