Sorry, I can't help you with these questions, because I don't
understand how UV filters are meant to solve the problem of
papers with fluorescent whiteners. Perhaps the instrument vendors and/or
profiling software vendors can defend the idea that UV filters
somehow solve the problem of fluorescent whiteners in papers, affecting
the usefulness of printer profiles. I'd be very interested to
hear an explanation from them about the principles this idea is
based on.
