Andrew, I think you are misunderstanding the gentleman's question
slightly. For example, my red is built to match the original Hell tables
and has 14%C, 95%M, 74%Y and 17%K. If you know a way of using Profilemaker
to input these values directly instead of a useless LAB value I am all
ears. The only way I know is to use the Kodak ColorFlow editor and
selective color in PS. Discontinued, unsupported and incompatible w/ OS10
BTW.
I would very much like to find a more modern profile editor that lets me
input the exact ink mixtures I need directly into the output profile
instead of relying mysterious LAB transforms based on curves which do NOT
allow sufficient control over the ink mix.
