Multiple complicating factors... one is that PC monitors will have a gamma of
2.2. but not necessarily a whitepoint onf 6500, and as unprofiled devices may
vary a great deal, so you are shooting at a cloud here...
Next is the fact that Netscape on the Mac may or may not be correcting your
images; But Photoshop certainly is. So the gamma of sRGB images will be
correct in Photoshop, and the profile primaries will be adjusted as well. A
PC browser won't be making that primary adjustment, so there will still be
some variation, even on a calibrated PC monitor.
Finally there are the video card curves that will affect Photoshop, Netscape,
and anything else on your Mac, and which may of may not be in use on a given
PC.
