I use 5500 (G2.2) as my Just Normlicht tables make a very close match to
the monitor to this. Probably the variable is there, trust your eyes and set
your white point to your particular paper whites-ambient light etc.

It's not something I've had to do but unless you've got a Barco the colors
are going to move on the monitor through out the day. I'd say a small
monitor tweak is okay in this case. The profile was created with the right
settings at that time but can't take into account the monitor drift.
