RIP: PowerRip 2000 versus Bestcolor Designer Edition?

I was thinking of PowerRip 2000 to improve my test prints, but just
stumbled on another product by Bestcolor. I think they actually have got
two versions for Mac: "Designer Edition" and "Photographer Edition".
They are more expensive than the early choice, but would you recommend
that product over the other?
