Calibrating an Apple monitor without brigthness control

  • Subject: Calibrating an Apple monitor without brigthness control

Good morning,

Somebody tried to create ICC for a monitor without brigthness controls?

Is there any cue about this?

I calibrated in the same day a Sony monitor and there is no problem.
After calibration I needed to change values of brightnees. Is this
normal?

To get more precision with colors I edited profiles curves to use in
Proof Seup (Photoshop 6 for Mac).
Is this normal too?

Thanks for your help.
