This is to let you all know that I have finally made my masters project
report, titled Collaboration and Colour Management in Fine Art Digital
Printmaking, available on-line. The URL is . . .
http://www.tom.ashe.com/masters/
Chapter 2, Colour and Colour Management, includes sections on basic color
perception and theory, color management of monitors, input and output
devices, and working color spaces. It also contains experimental results
showing the benefits of using a color managed workflow and a comparison of
output profiling software packages. The latter results are not as valuable
as I would have liked, since the software packages used were not
comprehensive (missing GretagMacbeth ProfileMaker and MonacoPROFILER) or
current.
I also want to thank members of this community for their direct and indirect
contributions to this project and report, especially Michael Kieran, Bruce
Fraser, Andrew Rodney, Chris Murphy, and Robin Myers. This forum has been
and continues to be a valuable resource thanks to all of you.
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.
Cheers,
Tom
