RIP and custom profiles

  • Subject: RIP and custom profiles

I am trying a demo of BestColor Photo Edition. It seems to be an
interesting software and the colors I have seen are smooth. The
interface is not fool proof and it caused a few crashes during
installation... It seems to pump up a lot of resources from the system
in comparison to the Epson drivers who can work in the background. But
that's probably normal, and what would turn me away is rather the fact
that I cannot use custom profiles and also that the Canon S9000 is not
supported, as I was thinking of getting one. Is there another RIP in the
same price range that would allow creating custom profiles with the
ProfilerPro-Spectrocam combo? Or am I complicating my life and should I
expect great results from the boxed profiles and just go with it and get
rid of theSpectro?
