how to get Mac JPEG's to look good on the internet

Hey guys. I'm trying to update my website with new images, and when I get
them all saved and uploaded on the site, they look much to dark on all my
friends' PC's. I use a Mac at home (calibrated and color managed), and I
suspect it's the 1.8 versus 2.2 gamma issue. Is there an easy formula for
taking a Mac image and saving it so it looks more-or-less bright enough for
web use where everyone has PC's?

Thanks for your thoughts,

~chris jordan (Seattle)
