Terry,
I appreciate the suggestion but it still remains a
cludgy workaround. Maybe your idea would be worth
trying if the custom paper was a close match to one of
the inbuilt media papers already linearised by Best.
The other way is to mess around with the Ink Assistant
and then add your re-linearisation into Profile Manager
as a xxxx.cmy file.
For me it is unsatisfactory when Macintosh's have the
greatest range of ICC profiling software available to
them on the planet but to fully use this technology we
have to go off to a mates business, that runs Best
ColorProof on a PC, to do the job as it should be
done!!!
