I was able to make the printer work by using the 1270 driver with a 1280
printer. I too had trouble getting it to communicate with any
printer...either a 1270 or 1280. Once I installed the standard epson
drivers all seemed to work fine. Its not mentioned in the install
instructions anywhere, but I think I saw somewhere that Imageprint uses some
element of the original driver to establish communications with the printer.
If that's not present it won't work...at least that was my experience.
