I suggest that you bring both the original Lab and the converted
numbers in an Excel spreadsheet. You will than have about 270 patches
of "Reference" data versus "Converted" data in 6 columns (3 columns for
each Lab values). It is quite straightforward to dial in the DeltaE ab
equation then and compute the difference.
I already have some similar spreadsheet setup that way. So if you have
difficulty just shout.
Along the same lines, anyone have a way of "quantify how well monitor
profiles are working"?
Hi I am trying to quantify how well my scanner profiles are working.
Besides
loading the profile in lets say ProfileMakers Editor where you can
check how
big the gamut is. I want to be able to load the reference file for my
target
which are LAB numbers then compare them to a scan of the target which
I have
converted to LAB.
What do I need to do this.?
