optical with LCDs

Hi all,

I am just profiling an LCD with optical and I am coming across
some questions. Possibly someone can help .. Colorvisions email
support seems to be a bit slow.

I am using it on a windows machine.

a) The manual states not to use precal with LCDs .. I see no other
way though to get the colortemperature setup to the needed
temperature. Plus it seems to work ok. Are you using precal
with LCDs ?

b) Which is preferable .. to use the D temperature or the non D.
That is D65 or D50 rather than 6500K or 5000K?

c) When I setup my Temperature in precal I have to
select native colortemperature in optical. Correct ?
Or must I select the same temperature I used in Precal ?

Any help is greatly appreicated.

-Daniel
