Eye-one strip length limited?

Hmmm... On a DTP-41 I'm used to softwares giving you A3 testchart options...
I've read the limit is about 60cm (24") length for a strip.

On MonacoProfiler, I see when you select the Eye-One, A3/tabloid is dimmed
and you only get A4/letter options.

Is this a limitation of the Eye-One hardware/firmware, or is it Monaco's
fault? (or decision)
