I haven't tried it yet, but I am told that the Keyscan adapter v1.9 is for
OSX and that it is a very good solution for connecting the
Spectrolino/Spectrascan via USB.

I am using the Keyspan adapter with 10.2.5 and can confirm that it works
with the Spectroscan using both Monaco and Profilemaker. It also works with
the Spectrocam. In fact if anyone is running Monaco Profiler 4.5 with an OS9
Mac you have to use the keyspan to connect a Grey DTP-41 as it is is only
directly supported in OSX. I should add that I am using the single port one
with an PC/Mac serial adapter and not the dual port Keyspan.
