CSE has a product that allows you to Linearize AND Ink Limit, all before profiling. The product for the Mac is X-Photo. I believe they still have a 15 day beta available... You can check at www.compatsys.com.

Check it out, I have been using the PC version (ColorBurst for some time now and it is quite good.)
