Since most color perception (many say 90% or more) occurs in our brains,
better sensors are not the answer to the current problems with digital
imagers or color reproduction.
We need to remain humble and begin working with the tools that are now
available, improving them where possible, and insisting that new
developments in theory and practice are quickly integrated into software
and hardware. Most photographers are not using the tools that exist
properly and have yet to really understand that digital photography is
fundamentally different from working with film.
The rules have changed. Those that stick with it and pay attention will
be rewarded.
