Has anyone on/off the planet figured out how to calibrate duel monitors on
a WinXP Pro Platform?
I use a Matrox Parhelia 128 and it is has Two(2) LUTs (Look Up Tables); one
for each head, so says Matrox (It is a true duel-head video card). I am
told that XP can do this but the calibration software has to support it.
Usually the calibration software can calibrate each monitor separately by
calibrating the main Display, saving the profile; then moving the program
window to the other display and running the routine again and saving the
profile with a different name.
Problem is, I dont know how to assign profile A to monitor one and
profile B to monitor 2. If you manually change the assigned profile in the
Color Management tab of the display driver, up til now, both profiles will
change. (you profile monitor one and the default profile is applied to both
monitors, you profile monitor two and this NEW profile is applied to BOTH
monitors, replacing the first one.
Both my monitors are Sony GDM-FW900 (widescreen) 2048x1280 and 1280 by 800,
16:10 ratio
They have RGB Gain (used for manually adjusting white point) and RGB Bias
(I think Bias is used to adjust the black point but I have NO Idea how to
use it. I wished to Cal software would utilize it.
