CSA only allow three chanel input, so a convertion from cmyk to cmyk dosn't work. this limitation was stoped with CPSI-version 2017. postscript 3 rip are working fine with three and for chanel data.
Nope, no such thing as a CSA. The equivalence is:
ICC input (A2B) = PostScript CSD, AKA "CIE based color spaces"
ICC output (B2A) = PostScript CRD
Level 2 PS supports 1 or 3 channel spaces (CIEBasedA and CIEBasedABC), which
are equation based (Roughly equivalent to ICC matrix profiles), while
PS level 3 introduces 3 and 4 channel spaces that allow table lookups (CIEBasedDEF
ad CIEBasedDEFG) which are roughly equivalent to ICC clut based profiles.
