Hello to all,
At the moment I am running an Epson 5500 for more than a year with a
dye-based ink (Lyson Fotonic) without major problems. So far, so good.
(all custom profiled) Recently, around one and a half month ago I installed
a bulk feed ink system and again this was running fine from the beginning.
What happened? I got a major colour cast over all my prints. Yes I can
re-profile it, but the drifting is not a little bit. There is now a strong
green/yellow/brown cast. OK I can re-profile it, but what happened here?
If I do a nozzle check, all looks fine, so it was a few month's ago.
Temperature in my room is not much higher, because the summer in the UK is
not really hot at all. Humidity is I guess not much different either.
(The inks are around 1 year old)
It was all spot on custom-profiled... And now I really am surprised.
Anybody having similar experiences?
Thanks for any feedback.
Udo
