Steve -
You might be right. Not knowing any better I downloaded the
GretagMacBeth color target (file name: MacbethCC-Lab-L.tif) and
loaded it with PS 6. I have PS setup with "No Color Management" I
thought this would be a good color target. Is there another/better
one that I can use?
Thanks again

Even the EPSON manual has it listed and refers to it on page 44,
under Printing a Custom Profile Test Target, Step 4 "Print Space -
>>Profile Select - Same as Source"
If you can't see "same as source" then the file you are printing is
probably not in the same color space as your printer.
So, if you are trying to print a CMYK file to the standard Epson
drivers, "same as source" does not show up - you need to print an
RGB print target.
If you are printing an RGB file to a 2200 driven by a CMYK RIP, then
you will have the same problem in reverse...
does this help?

Steve
