I'm not sure that it rises the shock level of say, J. Edgar Hoover in a
teddy, but anyway..
Since no method of measuring and saving out a text file was provided
with the instrument, it's shocking some of these functions didn't come
free with the EyeOne, saving us the need for this large download. While
there are functions in MeasureTool beyond basic needs, some of these
things should have come free with it as they do with other devices.
After all, you're purchasing a Spectro here, and most of us have diverse
needs for the device. I'd prefer access to all the various tasks that
purchase can help me with, it seems to be a very good instrument.
There may be ways to fool Eye-One Match into accepting other templates
for chart measurement, thus eliminating the need for Measure Tool, I
haven't had time to work it out.

I'm still shocked that GM still allows this tool to be used in a demo mode
with so much functionality! There are actually products for building
profiles that expect you to download the demo to capture the data for
building profiles in a competing product. We own GretagMacbeth a thank-you
for this (and ColorLab).
