Subject: Xerox Phaser 8200 Photoshop Printing ?

Today I calibrated a monitor for a friend.
Calibration worked perfectly and I was quite proud of myself
until I tried to make a print to show her how the whole Color
Management
thing works. Fell flat on my face.
She just bought the printer a few days ago so was not
familiar with the correct setting.
I am an Epson person and can match print to monitor easily.
The Phaser dialog box was like reading a different language.
I would greatly appreciate any help from someone who knows the
Phaser
language.
Could not even see where to set the Media Type.
Printing from PS7, OSX, CMYK document.
Just one more thing, also any info on printing Pantone on the
Phaser.
Many thanks in advance,

Wolf, I have a Phaser 7700 and ran into the same problem. Check
to see if color correction is set to "none" under the Print Features
option, otherwise it over attempts to over correct the color. As far a
setting media type on the 7700, you set that at the printer when
installing the paper.
