I run a G3 PowerBook (Pismo) exactly as you describe and it works fine. I'm
not positive about MIRRORING the displays but running each stand-alone
allows you to calibrate/profile each display separately and assign a unique
profile to each. I'm driving a 22" LaCie and I'm using ProfileMaker
4.1.5/Eye-One Monitor for profiling.
