OK. I visited the above link. All I can say, for now, is that when this is
supported by the digicam manufacturers it will mean that RAW images will be
encoded in sYCC. And at that time, we'll most likely be provided with
decoding software. And we'll likely be provided with a matching ICC profile
as well. Images will open under this color space in Photoshop and it will be
business as usual. Nothing to worry about. As for sYCC yielding color gamuts
larger than sRGB it remains to be seen. Could very well be -- I haven't read
the whole article. But why the choice of yet another color space: haven't we
already have ProPhoto, AdobeRGB and BetaRGB (among others) as established
large gamut spaces that we need yet a new one?
