Hi all
I have the following setting:
OS X 10.3.1
ColorSync: RGB-Profile: sRGB
TIFF File with ECI-RGB Profile attached
I load this image in Word and it gets converted from ECI-RGB to sRGB.
Alright till now.
Now I generate a PDF using the Quartz Engine (print dialog -> save as
pdf)
if I know check the image in the pdf it has the profile "Generic RGB
Profile" attached.
OK - I generate a quartz filer that has the sRGB profile to be used if
no profile can be found in the document. I again open the print dialog
in word, go to the colorsync pulldonw menu, choose my setting with the
correct defaultprofile, and again save the pdf. And again the Gerneric
RGB Profile is attached to the image.
My questionis now: What is the correct way to have the correct profile
attached to the rgb image?
