How is the Mac OSX interface in the scanner?
I don't know, I use Windows XP

Do you use a Photoshop Plug-in?
I'm waiting for SilverFast PS plugin version for LS-5000. For now I'm using
NikonScan that works under Photoshop (being twain compatible).

Yes is possible to disable CM in NikonScan, but to use a true CM workflow
it's better to wait for SilverFast, because into NikonScan you can't use ICC
custom profile (in SilverFast you can).

No, you need to buy a target separately.

And is there a way to apply Dource and Destination profile once you have a
custom ICC profile? Is the scanner supplied with an IT8 target and any means
to build a custom ICC profile?
