Maybe. I think that eventually there will be demand for JPEG2000 built into cameras because it supports far better compression compared to regular JPEG. Camera vendors can then offer either better quality files, or more files on a given memory module. And JPEG2000 requires the embedding of ICC profiles. It's in the spec. If the camera vendors try to get away with ignoring that part of the spec, then it'll be time to just sick a bunch of rabid, demonic lawyers on them.
