Have you tried basICColor Display - Mac version 2.5.10/PC version
2.02? I have not found any monitors that error out with those
revisions.

With all due respect, I just call 'em as I measure 'em. DDC control
may work fine on YOUR monitor, but not on mine. Running version 2.5.4
under OS 10.2.8 currently.
The Formac 22800 CRT is a discontinued monitor and, not even being
supported by Formac. the fact that
Formac has stopped selling any CRT models does not really make putting
an extensive amount of effort into the 22800 a priority.

Ho, ho, ho! And welcome to the party... This discussion has been
on-going for a while. When I bought the monitor and basICColor
(separately), months ago, it was very much a current monitor. I
repeat what I said before: ICS promised me a fix at the time (this
was on the phone, since I got no e-mail response at that time). Point
now being: caveat emptor (buyer beware).
I am willing to bet the Mitsu 22" CRT on which my monitor is based
also can't communicate with the ICS software (exactly as Neil Snape
suggested in his message!) And as anyone today can attest, if you
wait long enough (ie, about a year or so) pretty much any monitor
model will be discontinued.
Thanks for your belated interest. Unfortunately, I can't consider
this response from ICS to be satisfactory.
BTW I was just contacted off-list by someone else from ICS who
offered to help, and I will report the outcome when it is decided.
