At risk of fall in mud...
Using this (Apple) calibrator software (?) you would:
- Compress evem more the gamut of display, because has no "hardware"
controls?
- After you done, the PM4.11 display profile will be less effective?
Because the primary Lut (Apple profile) wouldn't put in your video card
(-eg.
the PM display profile will send the Luts, but would be the first Luts
before) - just your Lut PM4.11 profile?
I'm not sure if I'm writing this right, so... let me know.:-J
- I could see that if I "precalibrate" an Apple-non-hard-controls before,
and use ProveIT to read the White, I get quite good white reads.
I wondering if my guessing process are correct or advisable.
