Sorry, I only tell the half history.
MSCONFIG, is a shy little program that live anonimous in
Windows/ServicePackFiles/i386 or Windows/Pchealth/Helpcrt/binaries folder.
You could to create an alias and use it in your taskbar or anyplace more
convenient.
To only run you click in START > RUN... > type MSCONFIG > OK.... The window
will pop up, click in the last "tab" STARTUP.
There are every iten that will run in your startup process.
It's only to check or uncheck the video-startup-loaders and hit APPLY.
Note that Loaders are "Common Startup" itens.
The reboot is advisable.
In the next time that will Login, you will warning that this "kind of setup"
could be for debugging purpouses, for more convenience you must to choose
not show this warning again.
That's it, everytime that you need to pick a Loader, uncheck all anothers
contenders.
