If you just right click over your ICC file (anywhere) and choose
"Install"
option, It's enough to put in right place.
The same to "Uninstall"option.
You know, it's a pity that it's not this easy to install and uninstall
profiles on OS X, when Windows can do it. It strikes me as bizarre that
we can be running OS X, drop an ICC profile onto the OS 9 "System
folder" and OS X's Finder offers to put it in the right place *in the
OS 9 system folder only.* But there is NOTHING at all for putting it
into the correct location on OS X itself. The OS X Finder becomes inept
if asked to help the user put things where they belong within OS X
itself.
Along the same lines, although not used as often, is the location for
PostScript PPD files on OS X. It is the single most insane location I
could never have imagined.
