ECI charts sharing X IT8

Anyone could to help about ECI2002 charts?

Both PM 4.11 and PO 4.05 has this charts to DTP41, but is possible/advisable
to print the PM ECI2002 and read in PO and vice versa?
I'm wondering too if this charts are a good choice to measure Offset printers
(IT8 still better?), or would be preferable for inkjets only.
