Well, I think I found the cause of the pink-magenta CRT.
Problem is solved. And, just maybe someone else will not follow my
errors.
What is was, was someone had helped me with colorsync profiles between
9.2.2 and 10.2.3. This person suggested I make an alias of 9.2.2
colorsync profile insert this alias in Library>ColorSync>Profiles.
I carried this to far, a little later on, by making an alias of this
latter Profiles, making an Alias of Profiles and putting in Colorsync
folder. Going in circles!
I honestly don't remember now if the CRT had changed in 10.2.3. I
don't think so.
Anyway, it seemed the change occurred when I went to 10.2.4.
But, another thing happened with the alias thing. The alias of Profile
from 10.2.4/10.2.3 into 9.2.2 colorsync folder prevented me from
printing with any Epson printer. But I did not know this at the time.
I thought there was a problem with 9.2.2, or the Epson drivers. I
did a clean instal of 9.2.1, and found I could print. But when I
started bringing the Profile alias into the new colorsync folder, I
could not print again.
So that's how I realized my mistake(s). Remove the aliases, and all
appears to be well. CRT is appropriate color in 10.2.4, and I can
print again on the 9600.
From now on, when I need a profile duplicated in another folder I will
not use aliases, but duplicate and move.
