Absolutely yes, it is also possible to improve on ImagePrints b/w
linearization for individual paper and ink variations while retaining IP's
excellent printer linearization, regardless of inkset, printer or paper.
I used ProfileMaker Pro to profile IP in color and I used ColorSavvy's
linearization function for b/w.
The results are quite good and a definate improvement on stock IP behavior
or any results I have been able to achieve with the Epson driver.
So if you have the ability to create profiles yourself in color, or have
rudimentary knowledge of the use of spreadsheets and a densitometer in b/w,
you do not need the subscription.
