Check that you have the right number of patches specified in the
file, and the right number of measurements to correspond to the
patches.
ColorLab also crashes (OSX) every time I try to compare ECI2002
i1.txt reference and sample files. Anyone else experience this type
of crash. (Haven't tried with other targets yet.)
It looks like the Compare function broke with Jaguar (2 days after we
finished the ^%$^% book!) Workaround is to use MeasureTool to do the
comparison once you've massaged the data files in ColorLab.
